This interior is an extension of the house’s architecture—sharing the same scale, character, and appreciation for expressive materials, but expressed through the details.
The expansive 1,000-square-meter footprint allows for a grand approach to the space. Stone plays a prominent role, appearing in finishes, floor surfaces, and decorative sculptures. Black tones lend the interior a graphic quality and depth, while light-colored and reflective surfaces provide balance and fill the space with light.
At the same time, we avoided making the entire house feel overly serious. The mood shifts in the bedrooms—of which there are many—creating more intimate, tranquil spaces for relaxation. Accent lighting, lightboxes, and soft textures lend them a unique atmosphere, while pops of color provide the counterpoint that enlivens the rigorous architecture, both inside and out.
