We tried to place this 1000+ m2 house at the maximum distance from the neighbors and so that it could be viewed from all sides. At the same time, we raised the house relative to the road level in order to expand and enhance the view characteristics of the forest on one side and the field on the other.
The house has two floors: the first is shared, the second is exclusively family. At the same time, the first floor has several semi-levels: a garage and a gym. The garage is lowered by 450 mm relative to the zero of the house for accessibility and easy entry from the street. The gym is lowered by 600 mm, which increases the height of the room and adds "air" to it.
As for the finishing materials, there are three main ones: anthracite granite, clinker brick, as well as natural stone in large slabs. Brick highlights the blocks of bedrooms on the second floor, porcelain stoneware lifts the house off the ground, creating the illusion of a floating volume of the second floor, and stone is used in tactile areas: entrance group, terrace area. From the side of the backyard, the second floor is highlighted by a large frame that covers the solid glazing of the bedrooms from the neighbors, it is made of porcelain stoneware. Glass has a special meaning here: this is not just a translucent structure, but the fourth finishing material that dissolves the house in the environment.
