When working on this house in the suburbs of Riga, our main objective was to preserve the existing picturesque forest and maximally dissolve the house in its natural surroundings. We achieved such harmony of architecture and nature by properly planting the house on a land plot with a pronounced relief and by using warm natural materials.
In the plan, there are two planning and viewing axes, and the house itself consists of several functional blocks, which are "threaded" on the axis and form the space of a large living room in the center of the house.
In the future, the project involves expansion and will include natural landscaping, a tea house, a bathhouse with its own summer kitchen.
