This house was designed specifically for a narrow, elongated lot on the very banks of the Sysert River. The architectural concept is based on maximizing the view: the main volume of the house extends toward the water, ensuring that all living spaces enjoy the best possible river panorama.
The façade aesthetic is based on a combination of beam brick with expressive relief masonry and lightweight aluminum panels. The contrasting textures create a dynamic volume, emphasizing its horizontal lines and interaction with the landscape. The beam brick adds tactility and natural, earthy strength to the architecture, while the aluminum brings modernity and visual lightness.
The landscaping maintains a unified architectural language: the perimeter fence is made of architectural concrete with pure geometry, serving as a calm backdrop for the materiality of the façade and emphasizing the rigor of the overall composition. It also serves as a natural boundary for the tennis court, which is adjacent to the property line. The other two sides of the court form the walls of the house itself, creating a private and protected space. To protect the panoramic glazing, concealed shutters are provided that fold neatly back behind the façade, preserving the clean lines. The entrance to the house passes under a long, distinctive canopy, which runs alongside the tennis court and swimming pool.
The house's floor area is 550 square meters. It includes everything necessary for a comfortable and fulfilling life: a spacious combined kitchen, dining, and living area, a gym, a spa with a swimming pool, two children's rooms, and a master bedroom. The children's rooms are located on the second floor, effectively separating the spaces based on noise levels and providing the children with their own independent world. The living room is located 30 cm below the rest of the house, increasing the ceiling height and giving the space special depth and expressiveness.
