We wanted to make the interior of this house in New York warm and soft, which we achieved thanks to one background pallet in microcement finishing, travertine and wood selected in a similar beige tonality. In order to emphasize certain areas, we have contrasting elements in dark graphite and white colors, such as furniture, lamps and dark glass in fences. This technique made the interior moderately contrasting. The selection of furniture is characterized by ethnic and natural notes, and also has a reference to collectible design.
The design of the guest house both supports the overall style and is a little different from it. Gray shades predominate in it, and due to the selected pieces of furniture and finishing techniques, the design seems more neutral and restrained, fully satisfying the client’s request for this space.
