A classic barnhouse with interesting engineering solutions.
This is a project of a modern house with a wooden rail on the roof. The solution is quite unusual both from a visual and technical point of view. The rail on the facade and roof is not covered with anything and will naturally change over the years.
If we talk about constructive solutions, we have abandoned the typical barnhouse walls made of expanded clay concrete and in our case the entire load-bearing load of the house is carried by metal I-beams. This also allowed us to avoid delays in the roof structure.
Panoramic windows on both sides gently shine through the living room space and let a lot of daylight into the house.
