Immigrant house

Architectural project

Project description

This house is a direct reflection of the style we’ve defined for ourselves as natural minimalism — a balance between clean form and a deep connection to the surrounding environment.

The architecture consists of three barnhouses connected to each other. Their varied heights, slight shifts, and transitions into terraces create rhythm and architectural expressiveness. At the same time, the structure of the house remains very simple, and the construction — accessible.

The house is located in a wooded area, on a rocky ledge with an elevation drop. We chose a flat spot on this terrain and placed the building into the natural landscape without disturbing its character.

The materials also refer back to nature. The main one is wood — one of the most natural and warm materials for a home. The second feature is gabion, which is usually used for fencing, but here it became part of the facade. The stone for it was gathered directly from the site — leftover from excavation work. This not only reduces costs, but also allows the house to be fully integrated into its place.
