The MJK apartment project has been designed to suit a young family with children and the introduction of partitions enabled client requirement to be achieved.The re-design of the apartment thus provides a large living room combined with kitchen, a children's room, two bathrooms, a bedroom with fitted wardrobe and a pantry. The living-room and kitchen area is further enhanced by a small balcony. The outer walls to this space have been installed and sliding doors introduced. Doors to the bedroom, bathroom and children’s room have been fitted with frosted glass which provides privacy while allowing natural light to brighten the corridor.The project has utilised simple materials such as plywood, flooring, porcelain stoneware. The living-room is further highlighted by curtains which close around the perimeter creating a feeling of softness and comfort.
