STAV INTERIOR

Private house

Project description

The interior is like a sandy beach: soft, bright, and enveloping. It is based on tactility and a sense of calm: textures become part of a person's daily dialogue with the space, creating a sense of intimacy and comfort.

The key concept of the project was the play of light in translucent structures. The soft, modern plasticity of the furniture is combined with the laconic geometry of the spaces, creating a balance between the fluidity of forms and a clear architectural structure.

We carefully considered the client's lifestyle, filling the interior with details that have special meanings: an accent wall panel with petroglyphs that visually opens up to the main space of the house—the living room; stone inlays in the study area on the second floor; wooden carved elements of the furniture fittings; and niches in the key areas of the living room. This is more than just decor. For the client and me, these are important elements that subtly refine the interior into the desired spectrum of psychological comfort.

With a medium-sized house, we were able to create a space that feels as airy as possible. The rational layout includes four bedrooms, a study, and a well-thought-out storage system, creating a comfortable and functional living environment.

The bright, family-friendly atmosphere is complemented by delicate, premium accents that lend depth and individuality to the interior. The primary materials used were silky decorative plaster and wooden slatted structures, which softly diffuse light, filling the space with warmth and dynamism.

Artistic wall paintings, stone and wood, tinted glass, and brushed metal in warm shades create a rich material palette for the interior. The softness and roundness of the forms are balanced by dark and glossy accents that add depth to the space and emphasize its architectural rhythm.
