With a total area of 1,500 m², maintaining a sense of the house as a cohesive whole was crucial. To achieve this, we divided the building’s volume into two distinct sections and linked them via a shared gallery.
This approach allowed for a logical distribution of functions—separating private areas from communal ones—while preserving a connection between all spaces. At the same time, the two volumes created a striking silhouette and offered opportunities to experiment with ceiling heights, lighting, and interior sightlines.
For us, architecture does not end at the façade. In this project, it extends into the interior, largely defining the design within.
The building’s volume dictates the configuration of double-height spaces, ceiling heights, circulation paths, and visual axes—and even the way one gradually discovers the home. Consequently, the interior does not exist in isolation from the architecture; materials, lighting, furniture, and spatial layout merge into a unified system that begins with the exterior silhouette and flows seamlessly into the interior.
