The project is based on a subtle, sophisticated eclecticism. The archetype of the classic gable-roof manor house is reimagined and complemented by minimalist box-shaped volumes that form a complex, multi-layered composition.
The facades are built on contrasting textures: ceramic roof tiles are combined with white porcelain tiles. The window overhangs, the inset volumes into the roof, and the play with the facade's depth create a sense of plasticity and architectural rhythm.
The house is conceived as a family home with an area of 1,700 m² and is composed of three independent buildings, where numerous double-height spaces and unique techniques create a scenic architecture, allowing functionality and aesthetics to work together as a unified whole.
The central building is the heart of the house. It houses the grand entrance, a double-height living room, a dining room, and a kitchen with access to the courtyard. Height, light, and air create a sense of spaciousness and tranquility.
The private building is a haven of peace and rejuvenation. The bedrooms, spa suite with direct access from the master bedroom, gym, and relaxation areas open out to the forest. All rooms open onto terraces, bringing nature into the interior.
We viewed the site as an extension of the architecture. A turning area and three terraces offer different moods. One features a fireplace, visually connected to the spa area; the second is a seasonal summer terrace next to the kitchen and barbecue area; and the third is for quiet relaxation and contemplation of the surrounding landscape.
