This is a house we designed for a creative video blogger, so the house has its own features. One of the client's main wishes was to have a video recording studio on the first floor with a separate access from the street and the possibility to put a motorcycle in there.
We also designed a four-car carport at the driveway, which allows parking for visitors and provides access to the house without leaving the carport.
The straight and austere lines of the house are broken by the circular hole in the roof over the parking area which not only accentuates the design of the facade but also reduces the overhang and makes the bracket of the roof even larger.
Also unusual is the solution open lobby, which has solid glazing, but is in the "niche". This niche shelters the lobby from outside views, but at the same time opens up a beautiful view and does not prevent the interior from merging with the exterior.
