DUALITY RESIDENCE

Architectural project

Project description

The house is located on a large picturesque corner plot surrounded by tall pine trees. Due to its location, the house has no neighbors on the borders and faces the forest with its southern side.

The name of the house is due to the very different and opposite appearance of its facades from the north and south sides. From the north side, that is, from the side of the road, it is presented in the form of a monolithic, unshakable wall, thereby creating the effect of maximum security and privacy. In contrast to the north, the south side is maximally open to the interaction of living spaces with nature through a large amount of panoramic glazing.

Functionally, we divided the house into two blocks, technical and main. The first block includes a garage, technical rooms, staff quarters with two bedrooms and a recreation room with access to the main block through the laundry room. And the main block is a three-storey volume with a two-light living room space, a cinema room, a separate master bedroom block and a whole recreational floor with a large terrace at the level of trees.

All movements around the house give the owners an exceptionally pleasant experience, since in any direction the axes of the halls and corridors are closed with panoramic windows or accent furniture.
